The Cloud Gate

New port, new excitement. It is my first time to Chicago and the Christmas New Year Sale has not been ended yet. Yeay! And every upside has downside. It was friggin cold in US, especially this year, which happen to be long winter. I checked on the weather and it was snowing heavily and the temperature was subzero. Wohoo! The other exciting fact that most of the Indonesian crew of my batch got this flight overlapping one another. That is why I got my itinerary already before the flight. Yeay!

Circus sticks together!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, it is Christmas. Originally I was scheduled for an LA flight over Christmas, but as a favor for me, my classmate swapped her Sydney flight for me! Yeay. More over, my parents, younger brother and some other relatives are also going to be there to spenf Christmas. This one is gonna be good. My favorite time around the year. My daddy Jesus’s birthday. Even though it was a summer Christmas over in Sydney.

It has been quite long since my first visit to Colombo. This time, I really had nothing in mind to do. When I checked the crew list, I saw another Indonesian crew operating this flight, Maya, and so I contacted her. We agreed that we’d keep the flight. I asked her what would we do there? And she said that there is this Elephant Orphanage that she would like to check it out. Great! That sounds like a plan to me. A damn good one.

Golden Red Leaves and Me

For the years I have spent in my life, I have taken so many pictures, everywhere, any weather and any ages, but none of them represents autumn. It was so lucky that I got swapped in to this flight. Autumn in Japan. Well, anyway, the main objective is to capture me in a picture with autumn’s red leaves *such an objective, huh?*, but it seems that God’s got a better offer. It was November, the best time of Autumn in Japan, and I got Osaka, which is so close to Kyoto, the cultural prefecture in Japan, origin of Geishas. Got it God, I will take the best autumn picture on this trip.

The Hollywood is finally calling my name. Haha! As a movie lover, Hollywood is a place where your dream seems to be real. Los Angeles, the city of angels, they said, is yet the closest port that my airlines flying to. It was November, autumn and that was my first west coast trip. I have never been experience the weather of west coast, come on, how much different it would be from the east coast? Damn! A lot!
