What did I do for last 12 months other than flying?

 Ep.53
“Sometimes on the way to the dreams, you get lost and find a better one.” – Annonymous.

Wondering why my blog just stuck for almost a year? Well here what’s really going on.

Roulette Alcohol Game
I was a girl that is full of dreams. In an exaggerated way, I’m pretty ambitious in achieving my targets. 2012 is the year that I found myself a 23 year-young *don’t wanna be old* girl. I thought by the time, I should’ve achieved something. Kinda put a pressure on myself, aren’t I? So, in this particular post, just in case you’re wondering why this blog stuck for almost a year? Well, its not that I’m dead obviously, but more that I got my hands busy with 2 of my dreams.

New York: Liberty Statue and Ellis Island

 Ep.52
3rd August 2012
“I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.” – Susan Sontag.
JFK – New York, United States of America.
Under the Lady Liberty
Here we go again, America. After all this time, I thought that I have never explored New York thoroughly since I always go down to Philadelphia. So it happened that I swapped in New York flight to do a New York exploration. In this case, while it was still summer *o how I hate winter now*, I would love to go to visit the most famous woman in America, Lady Liberty. And to my surprise, I found Helen’s, my classmate of Ind 28/11, name in the other flight crew list. I contacted her and asked whether she would love to go together with me to Lady Liberty. We agreed and a trip was set!

Seoul: Naminara Republic

 Ep.51
30 July 2012.
“See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.” – Ray Bradbury.
ICN – Nami-seom, South Korea.

under the trees
As soon as I know it would be another visit to Korea, I contact Dalin. Remember her? My high school friend that live in Korea? I asked her for a trip and she agreed to take a day off. How cool is that? So I saved my energy just enough to be able to do a day tour right after I touched down in Incheon. We do planned to go sightseeing to an island which happened to be the most popular island in South Korea, Jeju. But, Dalin said, there’s nothing much there, and she suggested to go to another island which is the backdrop setting from a Korean drama Winter Sonata. Hell yeah! I remembered watch that drama of 19 VCD *somewhere 10 years ago* back to back not even sleeping in between. So, there we decided to go to Nami Island.

Delhi: Sansrikiti Terracota Museum

 Ep.50
22 July 2012.
“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” – Annonymous.
DEL – Delhi, India.

Me and Earth
Here it comes, another unexpected trip. Indian port has never been a popular one among us, cabin crews. Not due to the destination, but more about the flight that we consider tough as “an early Christmas in the cabin”. And as explained before, there were no chance to swap and get away from this flight. So, I did it. This time, we flew there with mix based crew, Bangkok base. Different base, new friends and new experience is yet to come.

Brisbane: Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

 Ep.49
Somewhere around June 2012.
“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is not enough.” – Annonymous.
BNE – Brisbane, Austalia.
Kangaroo!
Well, I guess I have lost track of time up until here, so I guess I will just continue my journey diary based on my mood. Which country and which part of it? For now, as it has been mentioned before, it would be one of the Australian, Brisbane. The first time I knew I got this flight, I got what you might called sour mood. I tried so damn hard to swap it with another flight, but nothing works. And so, I did it and to be honest, even though I got no friends or relatives in this port, not to mention no flying buddy *as always*, I’d never thought that I’d love it this much.
